With its size, material, shaped forms, the sculpture states that the belief to be someone or something, is not REAL. In it there is an underlying dishonesty, association to meanings, labels and illusive identities. Life is pure sentience eternal existence. In mistaking one's own identity we create separateness..."me" "mine" in a world that is already an illusion. This 9' feet of pink granite sculpture places itself in the art trends remaining distant and aloof ,moving away from social environment or beliefs that conditioned an art movement. Away from the commentary of and to the world, which seems to be the preoccupation of many artists of the past and of the present. The sculpture eludes all connotation, links and attachments to the world, remaining uncontaminated and pure. Just like our true nature.
